US EPA seeks applications for $10 m pesticide info center

The US EPA has sought applications from relevant organizations to establish a National Pesticide Information Center(NPIC)with an eye on furnishing the public with”objective,science-based information on pesticiderelated subjects”.The Agency has earmarked up to $10 million for a project to be handled by the successful applicant,observing that the amount would be invested over a period of five years.The NPIC is expected to start operations from February next year.
