Bayer’s Crop Science division has agreed a new collaboration with US biotechnology business Oerth Bio. Oerth is a joint venture between Bayer’s investment arm Leaps by Bayer and New Haven, Connecticut-based biopharmaceutical company Arvinas, launched in 2019. The deal is to advance Oerth Bio’s Protac (proteolysis targeting chimera) protein degrading technology. The venture was set up to develop Arvinas’ Protac technology for agricultural products.
