Brazil approves new pesticide ais

Brazil approved three new chemical pesticide active ingredients at the end of last year. They included two herbicides, including as recently reported for South Korean chemical company LG Chem’s agrochemical subsidiary, FarmHannong’s, herbicide, tiafenacil (trade-marked as Terrad’or), and a fungicidal seed treatment. The approvals came through the Ministry of Agriculture Act No 64/2022, issued in the oicial gazette.
