The US EPA has released its draft biological evaluation of (BE) of the insecticide, cyantraniliprole, underlining the potential effects of the active ingredient on species listed under the country's Endangered Species Act (ESA). The development follows the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia issuing an order in November last year urging the regulator to complete an evaluation of the insecticide within its internal September 2023 deadline.
