Adama appoints president and CEO

Adama has appointed Steve Hawkins, its current senior vicepresident for the Americas, as its president and CEO. The appointment is effective May 1. He will succeed Ignacio Dominguez, who is retiring from the company after serving in a series of senior roles, including as a member of its management and executive committee for more than a decade. The new president and CEO will report to Syngenta group president and Adama chairman of the board Erik Fyrwald.
