ExxonMobil Revises Up to 25 Billion BOE the Volume of North Field Reserves Required for its Gas Projects

The total resources to be developed at the North Field for the existing or planned liquefied natural gas(LNG)and gas-to-liquids(GTL)projects of Exxon Mobil Corporation,Qatar Petroleum(QP)and their partners,as well as for their plans to export natural gas by pipeline,now exceed 25 billion barrels of oil equivalent(boe),according to the U.S.company's 2004 annual report.In 2003 it estimated the total volume required at 22 billion boe(AOG,16 June,2004).ExxonMobil holds interests in Qatargas(trains 1 to 5),RasGas(trains 1 to 7)and in Al Khaleej Gas phase 1(AKG-1).
