Talking on the top companies in the steel industry is always going on, but we forget or ignore that these companies would not have reached this position had there been no leaderships and human resources behind them, which could bring them up to the position of the top companies. And when we talk about the leaderships and human resources, we, first of all, mean the ideas which constitute one of the key factors of success. Making of success in any work requires ideas which can translate ambition into reality. Over the past decades, the strategies of the steel industry included a fundamental objective: to increase production. Perhaps this industry could, at the level we are talking about, the level of the Arab steel industry, increase production even though less than what was achieved in a number of the countries in the world, but these strategies have most often overlooked or forgotten the role of the leaderships of the steel industry in the success making, which the production increase is one of its elements, and perhaps one of the features of the change which took place as a result of the entrance of the private sector into a number of the key industries, including the steel industry, is the appearance of a new element in the success strategy achieved by this sector, which is the recognition of the role of ideas, or in other words, the dynamism of individuals in accelerating arrival at the objectives and making success.
