A view on 2007 and prospects of 2008

摘要

Production of crude steel during the first nine months of this year registered a new record figure amounting to 12.23 million tons against 10.85 million tons in the same period in 2006, i.e., up by 12.68 percent. Egypt production amounting 4.8 million tons accounted for 39 percent of the total production followed by Saudi Arabia whose production amounted to 3.3 million tons, i.e., up by 27 percent.
