Fitch sees modest improvement in Europe next year

Fitch Ratings expects a "modestly improved" European steel market in 2014 because of growth in the eurozone, demand improvements from key end-use sectors and lower raw material costs, it said Friday. Fitch said the eurozone economy will grow 0.9% next year and 1.3% in 2015, with domestic demand, as well as net exports, growing.
