MENA demand boosts Turkish pipe exports in January-October

Turkish steel pipe exports reached 1.5 million metric tons in the first ten months of 2013, up 3.1% year-on-year; the value of these exports, however, was down 1.9% to $1.38 billion, according to Turkish Steel Pipes Manufacturers' Association(CEBID) data. Rising demand from the Middle East and North Africa, especially from Iraq and Algeria, continued to support pipe exports in that period.
