Korean carmakers to drive HDG demand higher this year

That Hyundai Motor Group, the market leader, expects another good year which is reassuring for Hyundai Hysco, the group's automotive sheet maker. It intends to commission 550,000 tonnes/year of new hot-dip galvanizing capacity this year. Hyundai Hysco seems pleased that work to expand coated sheet capacity has begun while Posco remains cautious.
