Midrex Reaches Agreement with Techint on EMC International

Midrex Enterprises, Inc. has announced that it has reached agreement with Techint Technologies, Pittsburgh PA, on the sale of steel industry equipment supplier EMC International, Inc.Techint's acquisition of EMCI will allow Midrex to better focus its resources on ironmaking technologies and on Midrex's new business development group as the company diversifies within the steel industry and develops new technologies in other industries. EMCI will now be an integral part of Techint Technologies meltshop operations division increasing Techint's range of steel making process equipment supply.
