A New Rule for Competitiveness

The new rule for competitiveness, which has become governing all the tracks of economy and industry, is now summed up under the idea revealing that "in order to be able to live, you must be able to compete, you must look for allies and enter into strategic partnerships and alliances."If the phenomenon of alliances and mergers which has distinguished the last decade of the twentieth century has changed the map of the steel production worldwide and has brought into existence new producers and new production companies the production capacity of the first six companies in 2000 of which amounts to about 20 million tons each, this phenomenon, however, is getting increased and it will be enlarged more and more within the first decade of the twenty first century.
