The Arab industry is dominated to day by mini-mills using direct reduction, EAF, and continuous casting.The view of the likely trends on the demand of steel in Arab markets indicates that the consumption will grow much faster in the Arab region.At present equipment producers have a number of technological milestones on the development of iron making processes and the prospects of using in Arab steel expansions and new projects to realize cost reduction, higher quality, enhance performance, reduce impact on the environment in order to face competition and challenges in this industry.
