My Research Experiences

摘要

My name is WANG YUELIN, and I came from China. In 2019, 1 received my Master of Science degree in the department of Chemistry from Northeast Normal University, China. Now, I am presently working on my Ph.D. project at Osaka university which is supervised by Prof. Morikawa. In 2022, I got a JSPS DC2 fellowship. My research interests primarily focus on photocatalytic and electrocatalytic CO_2 reduction, N_2 fixation, and O_2 reduction using two-dimensional carbon-based materials. My research method is based on first-principles computer simulations that observe electrons and atoms in atomic scale and predict the properties of new materials. Our lab develops computer simulation programs based on Quantum Mechanics and by using those programs on supercomputers.
