UAE: Al Ghurair Iron & Steel to set up a CR & galvanizing Coils complex

Al Ghurair Iron & Steel will set up the UAE's first cold rolling and galvanizing steel coil complex at the Industrial City Abu Dhabi at Musaffah, at an investment of about Dh300 million. The plant is designed to produce 350,000 tonnes of CR Steel Coils per year, of which 50,000 tonnes will be sold as cold rolled full hard coils, 200,000 tonnes as galvanized coils, the rest as HR Pickled and Oiled Coils. The manufacturing complex will occupy 50,000 square mtrs of the site and the remaining will be utilized for roads and a state-of-the-art office complex with adequate provisioning for future expansions. Potential customers for the plant's products are expected to be from the construction sector, fabrication units and Oil & Gas sector.
