11.5 percent Increase of Maghreb Steel Company's Production during the First Half of 2005

Maghreb Steel Company has produced more that 196.6 thousand tons of sheets of both types: cold-rolled and hot-rolled sheets during the first half of 2005, i.e., up by 11.5 percent compared to 176.2 thousand tons the company produced in the first half of 2004. During the same period of this year the company has produced 41.8 thousand tons of galvanized sheets against 71.7 thousand tons in the same period of 2004, 25,9 thousand tons of coated sheets against 9.1 thousand tons in the same period of 2004, according to the statement given by Mr. Ahmed Al-Badraoui, the General Manager of Maghreb Steel Company to Arab Steel magazine on the most important achievements made during the first half of this year.
