Inaugurating the GTL Marketing Conference which took place in Doha on 20-21 October,Mr.al-Attiyah insisted that Qatar's objective to become the world's GTL capital was sincere.Qatar already has one GTL plant under construction(by Oryx GTL),and five other projects are under negotiation or at the engineering stage,including the one promoted by Royal Dutch/Shell for which an HOA was signed the same day.
