Dusup Commissions its Floating LNG Terminal in Jebel Ali

Dubai Supply Authority (Dusup) has completed the commissioning of a floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage and regasification unit (FSRU) at the DP World terminal in Jebel Ali, after taking delivery of an initial cargo of Qatari LNG that was produced by Qatargas 2 and supplied by Royal Dutch Shell. Qatargas and Shell signed a sale and purchase agreement (SPA) in 2008 for the supply of LNG to Dubai over a 15-year period.
