Altsom and BrightSource Energy Step Up Solar Partnership

Alstom and BrightSource Energy have announced a business partnership agreement to provide solar thermal power plants in particular in the Mediterranean ring and Africa. The agreement brings together Alstom's extensive experience in the field of turnkey power plants and key power equipment (such as steam turbines) with BrightSource's LPT solar thermal technology. The agreement follows Alstom's $55 million investment in BrightSource Energy in May this year.
