Port Tugs for Alexandria and Damietta

Two new Voith Water Tractors each are currently being built for the port authorities of Alexandria and Damietta. Voith Turbo Marine supplies the propulsion components for these vessels. The northern Egyptian metropolis Alexandria with its population of 4 million is located directly on the western end of the Nile delta. Its port is among the most important trade ports in the region. Approximately 60% of all Egyptian imports and exports are handled here. The Alexandria port authority has contracted with the Egyptian Shipbuilding and Repair shipyard to provide two new Voith Water Tractors.
