Cegelec continues to expand its already extensive cooperation with Sonatrach. The French company announced on 18 May that it had been awarded another contract from Algeria's national oil company, this time for the installation of security systems at two locations along the Pedro Duran Farell pipeline - the Maghreb-Europe gasline - in Algeria. Cegelec explains that, taking account of this contract, it will have been responsible for installing anti-intrusion, video-surveillance and access control systems at a total of some 30 sites.
