The planned start-up of the super-giant Kashagan oil field,which has already been put back several times and was scheduled for 2011,may not now take place until 2012 or 2013.That,in any event,is what Kazakhstan's Minister of Energy,Mr.Sauat Mynbayev,implied when he told reporters that this was one of the scenarios that the consortium had put to him.Mr.Mynbayev clearly intimated that the Kazakh government took a dim view of these reports.
