Pardis indicated granular urea at $625/t fob for shipment to Europe and $590/t fob for other destinations in line with last week. Shiraz and Kermanshah did not offer this week because of existing commitments for October shipment. With current levels in Turkey no higher than $640-650/t cfr duty unpaid, some traders are trying to build bigger vessels to cut freight costs and make offers at $590-600/t fob workable into Turkey. Around 270-280,000t Iranian urea has already shipped to Turkey in September, accounting for about 51pc of the country’s exports for the month.
