Schlumberger Announces First-Quarter 2008 Results

In Qatar, Qatargas awarded a two-year contract to Schlumberger Testing Services to provide high-rate clean-up and testing for the development of 33 natural gas wells in the North Field. The wells belong to two separate joint ventures, Qatargas 3, with shareholders Qatar Petroleum, ConocoPhillips and Mitsui, and Qatargas 4, whose shareholders are Qatar Petroleum and Royal Dutch Shell. In order to capture synergies, the assets of both projects are being developed jointly by a single team.
