CGGVeritas to Carry Out a 3-D Seismic Survey Over the Onshore Dukhan Field

Qatar Petroleum(QP)has awarded a contract worth 140 million to the French firm CGGVeritas for the conduct of an"ultra high-density,high-resolution 3-D seismic survey"over the onshore Dukhan oil and gas field.A spokesman for QP indicated that work would start at the end of 2008 and be spread over a three-year period.
