Five Hydrocarbon Discoveries Have Been Reported Since the Beginning of 2008

Between the beginning of 2008 and the end of April,five oil and gas discoveries were reported in Algeria.This is a particularly important indicator,and its development is followed closely by international oil industry circles for the following reasons:The last few years have been very good ones as regards the success of exploration activity in Algeria,especially 2006 and 2007,when a total of 40 hydrocarbon discoveries were made,and the industry is interested to see if this positive trend is going to continue.
