Despite a 4% rise in average oil prices to us24.70/b in 202,the approximately 9% reduction in the UAE's crudeoil production last year,in application of cuts in its OPEC quota,resulted in real GDP growth slowing to 1.5% in 2002 from 3.8% in 2001,according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
