Urea barges traded to a 21-month low at the US Gulf coast this week amid waning sentiment, with most liquidity con-centrating for early spring delivery. Product for delivery in February changed hands from $340-350/st fob Nola, accounting for only 5 of 36 barge sales confrmed during the assessment week. But barges for delivery closer to the spring also depreciated throughout the window, at times trading at near parity to nearby tons.
