Nola urea prices trended sideways this week on comparatively thin trade for nearby delivery, with attention increasingly fixed on forward delivery periods as the market heads into the offseason. Trade in the first half of the week was predominately for barges delivering in August and September, at $300/st fob Nola. July barges ultimately changed hands from $285-293/st fob Nola, accounting for six sales Thursday morning and two sales at the start of the week. A single loaded barge traded at $305/st fob Nola on Thursday morning as well, capping the high end of the week’s $285-305/st fob Nola range.
