Despite Being Cut by $2.60/B for December, the Retroactive Prices of Qatari Crudes Averaged $108.60/B in 2011

On 5 January Qatar Petroleum (QP) announced the retroactive selling prices for December liftings of the two crudes it exports under term contracts. Like Abu Dhabi, QP followed market trends and reduced the prices of both crudes by $2.60/barrel. The price of Qatar Land was thus cut to $110.75/b from $113.35/b in November and that of Qatar Marine to $109.50/b from $112.10/b. QP is continuing to supply its term customers with 100% of their contractual volumes.
