KBR Commissioned by Hoegh LNG to Carry Out Pre-FEED Studies for a Floating LNG Production Facility

The American company KBR has been selected by Hoegh LNG Holdings Ltd. ofNorway as "preferred engineer" for carrying out pre-FEED (front-end engineering and design) studies for the King project, entailing the construction of a floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) production, storage and unloading facility (FPSO). The project is currently being evaluatedfor the Tamar gas field off Israel, which is operated by Noble Energy.
