Qatargas Awards an EPCM Contract to Fluor for a Boil-Off Gas Recovery Project on LNG Jetties

Qatargas Operating Company Limited has awarded an EPCM (engineering, procurement and construction management) contract to Fluor Corporation for a boil-off gas recovery project in the industrial port of Ras Laf f an. The project is aimed at minimizing the loss of gas by vaporization from the flare stacks on liquefied natural gas (LNG) loading jetties through the productive utilization of the boil-off gas discharged in the process of LNG loading operations at the terminal.
