Qatar Petroleum (QP) and Shell Global Solutions have announced the award of a contract to Fluor Corporation for carrying out the FEED (front-end engineering and design) work for the complex being developed in Ras Laffan by their joint venture, Al Karaana Petrochemicals Project, as well as for the company's logo. The complex will be 80% owned by QP and 20% by Shell.
