Saudi Aramco Awards Five-Year FEED and PMS Contracts to a Joint Venture Led by WorleyParsons

Within the framework of a joint venture with the local firms Abdulaziz Kamel & Partners Co. and Alrabiah Consulting & Engineering Services, the Australian company WorleyParsons has been awarded a general engineering and project management service (PMS) contract by Saudi Aramco as part of the Saudi company's General Engineering Service Plus (GES+) initiative. The contract is for a basic term of five years, with an option for up to three additional years. "This initiative provides for the majority of the engineering services we need to be carried out in the kingdom so as to promote the development of training and local employment opportunities," Saudi Aramco explained on its website when the first GES+ contracts were awarded.
