Consortium Developing the Tamar Field Is Negotiating the Sale of LNG to Gazprom Marketing and Trading

The consortium developing the offshore Tamar gas field held a meeting on 21 March with representatives of Gazprom Marketing and Trading Ltd. (GM&T), a subsidiary of the Russian Gazprom group, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. Ltd. (DSME), D&H Solutions, Next Decade LLC and Levant LNG Marketing Corporation. GM&T explained that the discussions had been devoted to the evaluation of joint opportunities concerning the marketing of liquefied natural gas (LNG) produced from the gas extracted from the Tamar and Dalit fields. The meeting followed the preliminary talks that took place in Israel recently between GM&T and all the parties concerned in the project for building a floating LNG terminal off Israel.
