Readers of AOGM are very familiar with the Monthly Oil Market Reports(MOMRs)and the annual World Energy Outlook(WEO)published by the International Energy Agency(IEA).Now the Paris-based organization has decided to fill the gap between its short-term forecasts for the coming months and its very long-term projections for the coming decades by adding a Medium-Term Oil Market Report to these two flagship publications.The first issue of this new report,which is to be published annually,appeared in July,and in it the IEA outlines its vision of the future over the five years from 2006 to 2011.This is a crucial period in several respects,especially as regards concerns about worldwide production capacity.
