Egypt Signs Oil and Gas Cooperation Agreements with Cyprus and Greece

Egypt has just signed successive oil cooperation agreements with Cyprus,on the one hand,and Greece,on the other.The visit to Cairo of the Cypriot President,Mr.Tassos Papadopoulos,resulted in the signing of five cooperation agreements between the two countries,one of which covers the exploration and possible exploitation of offshore hydrocarbon reserves located along the dividing-line between their respective economic zones.
