Thanks to Rising Output at the Qasr Field,Apache's Net Gas Production Increased by 8% in the First Quarter

The gross natural gas production of Apache Corporation in Egypt reached a record 501 million cu ft/day on 5 March,while its crude oil output was running at 119,500 b/d on 8 March,the U.S.company indicates in a report on its activities in the first quarter of 2006.Compared with the last quarter of 2005,Apache's net gas production in Egypt was 8% up in the first quarter.The increase was largely attributable to rising output at the Qasr field in the Western Desert.
