Dolphin Project Progressing as Planned,Maintains the Qatari Energy Minister

The Qatari Energy Minister,Mr.Abdallah Ibn Hamad al-Attiyah,has insisted that the Dolphin project for the export of natural gas from Qatar to the United Arab Emirates(UAE)is progressing as planned and that his government has not been notified of any objection to it on the part of Saudi Arabia.For its part,Dolphin Energy Limited(DEL)has published a statement(see sidebar below)sounding the same note and adding that it has obtained the necessary approvals from the authorities of the UAE and Qatar for the construction of the gasline,which will be completed in the coming weeks.
