Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Company(Gasco)has awarded Bechtel Corporation the EPC(engineering,procurement and construction)contract for the second phase of the gas development of the Asab field(AGD-II).The contract is worth US1,241 million and calls for the construction of a new 800-million cu ft/day gas processing plant with the capacity to produce 6,400 tons/day of natural gas liquids(NGLs)from the Asab gas plant(AGP).
