New Private Company,Dana Gas,Set Up to Import Iranian Gas for Supply to Sharjah and Dubai

A new private company called Dana Gas is shortly to be created in Sharjah,having already received the preliminary approved of the UAE's Ministry of Economy and Planning.It is to be established with a capital of Dh 6 billion(US1.63 billion),of which 65% will be subscribed by its founding shareholders,namely the emirate of Sharjah,Crescent Petroleum Company International Limited(which is based in Sharjah),the shareholders in Sajaa Gas Private Ltd.(SajGas)and in United Gas Transmissions,the Bank of Sharjah and various investors in Gulf Cooperation Council(GCC)countries.
