Occidental Petroleum Corporation will remember the year 2005 as one of spectacular achievements.In Oman,the U.S.company recently won a contract for the operation of the Mukhaizna field.In Libya,it acquired interests in nine exploration tracts,and is operator of five of them,earlier this year,following an international exploration bid round in which a total of 15 blocks were offered.
