Awaz Ahmad Al-Jaz:I can confirm that my country ought to be producing 500,000 b/d by the end of 2005.Production will continue to increase over the following years,with the start-up of Thar Jath,the development of other known fields and,probably,the discovery of new structures.On the blocks we call 8,C and 9,for instance,drilling has just started or is about to get under way.On Blocks 11,14 and 5B,and possibly Block A,preliminary surveys are underway,or will be shortly.
