ExxonMobil and Saudi Aramco Sign Agreement with Fujian Petrochemical Co.to Fund Design Studies of Fujian Refining/Petrochemical Project

Fujian Petrochemical Company Limited (FPCL),a 50:50% joint venture between China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) and the government of Fujian,signed an agreement on 26 August with ExxonMobil China Petroleum and Petrochemical Company Limited and Aramco Overseas Company B.V.,a subsidiary of Saudi Aramco,for jointly funding the front end loading (PEL) design and engineering phase of the project for developing an integrated refining and petrochemical complex in the province of Fujian.
