CIC Announces Dr. Bibiana Campos Seij o as Interim Manager, StrategicCommunications and Engagement

After a long search, the Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC) is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Bibiana Campos Seij o asInterim Manager, Strategic Communications and Engagement. A chemist by training, Bibiana spent the last eight years at the American Chemical Society (ACS) as Editor in Chief of Chemical & Engineering News (C&EN) and VP of theC&EN Media Group, providing strategic leadership for C&EN, leading business development and diversification initiatives, and developing a vision for C&EN's portfolioacross all channels and platforms. Prior to her ACS days, Bibiana worked at the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) where, as Magazines Publisher and Editor in Chief ofChemistry World, she focused on raising the profile of the RSC's magazines portfolio, which included three magazines and one journal. Bibiana is excited to bring her pas-sion and vision to CIC, advocate for the advancement of the chemical sciences and its practitioners, and ensure that CIC continues to thrive as a membership organization.
