The Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (EMRA) has issued a tender for rights to prospect for,and extract,gold ore and associated minerals under the terms of production-sharing agreements (PSAs) that will be broadly similar to those that govern upstream oil and gas operations.The closing date for bids is 1 November 2006.
