Anadarko Petroleum Could Explore Most of the Sfax Offshore Tract in the Gulf of Gabes

The two companies that hold the license for the Sfax Offshore concession,Eurogas Corporation(45%)and Atlas Petroleum Exploration Worldwide Ltd.(Apex-55%),have concluded a farm-in agreement with the American company Anadarko Petroleum Corporation,which already has exploration interests in Tunisia,where it has reported several discoveries,and is very known in North Africa as a result of its many discoveries in Algeria.The agreement provides for Anadarko to acquire,process and interpret seismic data and,on the basis of the results,to move on to the drilling phase.
