ADNOC Aiming for Crude Oil Production Capacity of 4 Million B/D by 2010

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company(ADNOC)has completed several projects aimed at expanding its oil production capacity to 2.8 million b/d and plans to step it up to 4 million b/d by 2010,the company's Managing Director,Mr.Abdallah Nasser al-Suwaidi,disclosed in an interview with the magazine Pipeline.Mr.al-Suwaidi pointed out that the output of ADNOC and its subsidiaries had increased by 25% over the past two years and that the company was now developing new fields with the aim of stepping capacity up to 4 million b/d by 2010."It is our commitment to the world market that will determine the role played by ADNOC in meeting the growing world demand for hydrocarbons," explained Mr.al-Suwaidi.
