Exxon Mobil Corporation's hydrocarbon liquids(crude oil and natural gas liquids)production in Africa rose to 741,000 b/d in the first quarter of this year from 596,000 b/d in the corresponding three months of 2005,representing an increase of 24.3% in the space of a year.The rise is particularly spectacular insofar as the U.S.company's worldwide liquids production rose by no more than 6% to 2,696,000 b/d during the same period.
